Shire Removals Ltd. offer free no obligation quotations.  A quotation will include our general haulage insurance cover of £30.000 per load.  However,  if additional insurance cover is required we will need to be informed of his prior to us quoting your removal.

Please note: it is important that a figure for your insurance is entered on your acceptance form for your removal, otherwise you will only be covered by our restricted liability cover (see clause 9.1 of our terms and conditions).    

Customers are welcome to arrange their own insurance cover if they so wish, your insurance broker can advise you further.  

If you are obtaining several quotations please be sure that each company are quoting for the same services, this will offer the fairest comparison.  

If a quotation is given by one of our representatives, they will list room by room all items of furniture and goods to be removed. This will ensure sufficient vehicle capacity will be sent for your removal, and can accommodate the items to be removed.  

We can also quote for your removal by using an estimate sheet that you can fill in yourself. This is a common way of quoting if you are out of our area. If you choose to complete an estimate sheet, It is essential that all items of furniture and goods are listed, and the sizes of items of furniture ticked in the appropriate box.
