£70.00 per day, then of course you have to do all the work yourself, as
well as collecting the van, returning the van, fuel, responsibility for
any damage to the hire van etc etc.. We know from experience that
collecting and returning a hire van can take up to 2 hours.
Our solution.
We are also now able to offer the hire
of a man and 3.5 ton Luton van for the collection of goods for Self

delivered into your storage locker, even at 4 hours the cost is just
£89.50 + V.A.T including an experienced removal porter at your disposal.
Hiring a man and van will also speed things up,
as the experienced removal man can load your goods safely quickly and
efficiently on to the vehicle using proper equipment and wrapping
materials. he can also make things run much smoother with his knowledge.
The more people you get to help with the removal the better. But just
one person helping the driver porter should see one van load = 500 cubic
f/t delivered into storage within 4 hours.

available to Self Storage customers renting self storage units.
Hints and Tips for bringing your goods
to self storage.
Making the most of your man and a van
will depend on how organised you are in preparing your goods for
storage. With a little time spent in preparing your goods will enable
the operation to be carried out in the shortest time possible saving you
costs.
By following the tips below you can
make your move into storage run far smoother and save you time and
money. If you have any questions, then please feel free to contact us.
Where possible pack all smaller items into
boxes for easier and quicker transportation.
Wrap and bundle awkward items.
Ensure parking is available for the removal van
as close to your front door as possible.
Have all your items ready to be moved, the
nearer the exit door of your property the better.
Make sure that any items that need dismantling
have been. Dismantling can be very time consuming.
Get some help from friends or family member,
this will speed things up reducing your hire costs.
The most time consuming part of the job is
loading of the van. All loading is to be undertaken by the porter
supplied. So if you bring goods to the back of the van, and let the
porter load, the job will be undertaken much quicker.
If in doubt moving any awkward or heavy
furniture ask the driver porter.
Basically good organisation before your man and
van arrives will save you time, thus reducing your hire costs.
Of course you can have your goods removed from
storage in exactly the same way. We are offering this service for the
next 3 months as a trial. So if you need self storage space, you can get
it there cheaply weather it be for business archive storage; stock
overspill; storing due to renovation; or to de-clutter your property for
easier selling.

our depot. The hire time will end when goods are stowed into your
storage unit and you no longer require any further services. The driver
porter is entitled to a 10 min break each and every 2 hours, which is
included in the hire time.

undertaken within a 20 mile radius of Beaminster DT8 3PT mileage
exceeding this is charged at £1,25 per mile.
